River Medical purchased the Clane Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in July 2011, prior to our purchase a small number of Clane Cosmetic Surgery patients received PIP implants. Once the implants were recalled in March 2010 all patients that received PIP implants were contacted and scanned.

Clane General Hospital remains one of the country’s foremost facilities for quality care since its beginning in 1985.  It is an independent elective healthcare facility.  

The hospital is designed specifically to provide care for medical and surgical patients on a day care basis as well as some overnight stays.  In June 2002, Clane General Hospital became the world’s smallest hospital to achieve Accreditation.

Clane Cosmetic Surgery and River Medical

River Medical is delighted to announce that it has bought The Cosmetic Surgery unit at Clane hospital, becoming the only hospital based private cosmetic clinic in Ireland. River Medical’s surgical patients will now have the option of being seen in Clane or in Dublin’s Baggot Street along with the benefit of the River Medical support system, nursing staff and after care high standards.
